Top left: The SD-1 is shown mounted to the driver’s side lower dash lip.
Top right: The SD-1 allows clearance in front of the dash without getting in the way of the wheel or turn signal switch.
Bottom: The SD-1 is mounted on the lower dash lip next to the speaker pod.
The cup holder allows clearance in front of the heater switches.
The cup holder is available black anodized, or with a polished front face slide.
The SD-1 Cup Holder is designed by an MG enthusiast for MG enthusiasts. The cup holder will fit all MGBs with a steel dash from 1964 through 1967.
The HIGH QUALITY SD-1 Cup Holder is solidly built from CNC-milled billet 6061 Aluminum, Black-Anodized. The cup holder slide is also available in a polished aluminum finish.
IT ATTACHES EASILY AND SECURILY WITH ONLY AN ALLEN WRENCH
The design of the cup holder complements the lines of the dash, simplicity of the interior and does not intrude on the car’s interior yet allows the drink to be securely and functionally placed.
The SD-1:
- Attaches easily – in seconds with 1 tool and is easily removed.
- Mounts in two places under the dash lip.
- Places cups functionally for the driver and passenger – to the left of the steering under the fuel gauge and for the passenger, on the right side of the speaker pod.
- Does NOT hang on a door, so you can move in and out of the car freely
- Does NOT intrude on car’s aesthetics like plastic holders
- Does NOT encroach into the driver’s zone
- Does NOT restrict passenger access
The SD-1 is approximately 6”x 4” x 1/2” and weighs less than 12 oz with a large 2.9" diameter opening to allow for 12 oz cans, bottles and 16 oz cups.
